Scandi Christmas Decorations

I got my hands on some great Scandi fabric recently and decided to try making Christmas Stockings. These are narrow not large enough for a toy, but great to fill with candy. Who needs toys anyway? Candy is where it's at! You can see and read more about these on my Etsy shop.
Here is another of my feral kitty's her name is Flynn Ryder she was born in June.
There is a real easy pattern for a cat on my Etsy shop. Maybe I'll make one and paint it light grey to match Flynn. I've made alot of toy mice for my outdoor feral cats and they love to play with them, my potted plants (ugh) and people are right about the fact you can organize your cats in card board boxes. They love boxes.

I Like Cats

Everyone knows how much I like cats...I even collect feral cats. Here is a picture of one of my babies named fuzzy. Alot of my relatives like them as much as I do so I went on a search to find special Christmas gifts this year and look what I came up with.
I purchased them from CharlotteStyle's Shop on Etsy Who makes Sparkle-Cheeked,Original Handcrafted Dolls. Aren't they darling little tree trimmers?
Back to decorating for Halloween. I made this little witch recently who definitely took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up a shelf decoration. I designed the pattern in the early 2000's (named Bottom's Up) then used it as inspiration recently to make this smaller one who is available on Etsy. I really like the bright colors and fabrics that you can find in the stores... as you can clearly see. I also really love to browse Charlotte Styles Etsy Shop. Try it you'll love it.

Fall is on its way again

Finally Blogspot allows me to attach a post and picture. I had to get Chrome to do it tho. I've been trying for months and decided to google it to find out the problem. Success at last...I think.
Here is one of my newest witches on Etsy! Handmade the primitive way ... no sewing machine... she is 12 inches tall to the top of her pointy hat. She has a coffee stained muslin face hand drawn with artists pencils and sealed to protect it from fading and dust. She has an Orange cloth body with matching arms and her hands are coffee stained muslin. Her legs are a striped cotton fabric in shades of orange and red. Her hair is a red fiber yarn that I made a wig out of and then cut into the best style to accent her face. In the end Paul Mitchell helps to keep it in it's style. Her Dress was hand stitched from designer fabric with spiders and spider webs on it and has a lot of hand stitching on it. $55.00 for the witch on Etsy plus shipping.

My Snowball is made of warm and natural. He is a hanging ornament that has been snowed on. He too is in my Etsy shop. Check them out.
