Marie Antoinette

Just finished my version of Marie Antoinette for the MMC Challenge on ADO this month. Used some vintage lace I found in a box of my Grandmothers so it has to be out of the 1920's. It was fun and I messed around with air dry clay on her too.Even put her hair in a french twist in the back! EX hair stylist here.

Americana Abby and Horatio Frogblower Primitive Art Dolls

This little 9 inch Americana Art Doll is a new design I'm trying. Using primitive techniques and Americana fabric I have been experimenting with these new patterns.
"I just wanted you to see my Americana loons"!
I love Americana anything and
I'm really enjoying making the smaller dolls now and find they take up less space so I can use a lot of them myself around the house as shelf sitters. Both of the above dolls are available to purchase finished on my Etsy site. Thanks for looking they both sold!

Traveling Art Doll D'Sil and Olin

Just finished my part of D'Sil and Olin...great fun dolls to work on originally made by Little Bit Wired. I added the cape to him...

He has been to see Abi Monroe who made the clay bird body for Olin, leather satchel for D'Sil and then to Cindee Moyer who added the hair, beard, and clothing she also painted D'Sil Gold. They are now in the talented hands of Paula Nerhus. I love how all these dolls are turning out.
